We have 12 members who represent three wards, Rhosgadfan, Rhostryfan and Dinas. The members are very committed and hardworking, giving their best to the people within their communities.

Llanwnda includes the villages of Rhosgadfan, Rhostryfan, Rhos Isaf, Llanwnda, Dinas and Saron, with a population of approximately 1,900. As you can see from the photographs, this is an area of outstanding beauty, with breathtaking views of Caernarfon and the surrounding area.

There are numerous public footpaths criss-crossing the area, and the old Ffestiniog Railway line, called the Bryngwyn Branch, has been established as a public footpath between Tryfan Junction and Bryngwyn. A part of Lôn Eifion cycle and public footpath also forms part of the network of paths. It is possible to cycle from Llanwnda to either the Caernarfon direction or towards Bryncir. We are also very lucky in that large areas of the community is common land with free access to walkers along a vast number of paths leading from Rhosgadfan to Waunfawr and Betws Garmon on the one hand and towards Cesarea and Carmel on the other. Horseriding is also a popular hobby in this area because of the quiet lanes and common land.
